Favor Transition Academy is equipped to meet the diverse needs of all of our students. As a part of our school design, all students receive restorative support through our RLM courses. In addition to sustained access to opportunities to build social, emotional and behavioral wellness, we support our students though enrichment, advancement, tutoring, intervention, accommodations, or therapeutic services provided by our partners.

Favor Transition Academy (FTA) is committed to supporting students with learning differences through our FavorED Supported Learner Program (FSL Program) .
The FSL Program offers additional educational and transition services for students with documented learning needs as previously determined through educational testing, a 504 plan, or an IEP.
Favor Educational (FavorED) Supported Learner Program
The FSL Program uses instructional strategies, accommodations, small group and individualized academic and behavioral intervention sessions to support students with diverse needs.
The FavorED Supported Learning Program
Classroom interventions: A variety of in-class supports are used to assist students.
Accommodations: Testing and classroom accommodations are provided to meet student needs.
Instructional Support: This includes small-group instruction, one-on-one academic intervention, and executive functioning instruction.
Therapeutic Support: Behavior Management Skill Development and individual therapy services are available.
Direct Services: FTA works with local school districts to develop individualized service plans for students needing Speech- Language Impairment Services and updated evaluations.
Transition Support- Students may be eligible for
Pre- Educational Training Services (Pre-ETS) to support Post-Secondary Planning and Readiness.

Favor Transition Academy offers expanded learning opportunities through partnership with organizations and institutions offering rigorous programs and/or courses for students previously supported in Advanced Learning Or Gifted Education Programs.
Gifted Eligibility is determined by:
Option A - The student is declared eligible for gifted services based on mental ability and achievement scores in the 96th percentile composite or full scale and 90th percentile total reading, total math, or composite.
Option B -The student is declared eligible for gifted services based on multiple criteria assessment – meeting three of the four criteria of the following: mental ability, achievement, creativity, or motivation.

Students experiencing homelessness will be referred to the Community Collaboration Team to identify resources to help reduce the potential to drop out of school. Students experiencing hardships or homelessness, should reach out to the Director of Restoration and Intervention using the chat feature below.
