Favor Transition Academy is proud to partner with families to provide access to a specialized whole -child focused education, through the Georgia Scholarship Program. This initiative, signed into law in 2024, empowers Georgia families to access financial support to attend FTA.
What Is the Georgia Promise Scholarship Program?
The Georgia Promise Scholarship Programprovides eligible families with up to $6,500 per student annually to cover educational expenses, including:
- Private school tuition and fees
- Curriculum materials and textbooks
- Transportation services
Administered by the Georgia Education Savings Authority (GESA), the program ensures families can choose educational options that best fit their child’s unique needs.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Georgia Promise Scholarship:
- Students must be enrolled in a Georgia public school for at least two consecutive semesters OR
- Be rising kindergarten students who forgo public school enrollmentApplications for the scholarship open early at the start of each year.
How to Apply for the Georgia Promise Scholarship
- Visit the Georgia Promise Scholarship Website
- Check Your Eligibility: Ensure your family meets the program’s requirements.
- Prepare to Apply: Gather required documentation, including proof of enrollment or eligibility.
- Submit Your Scholarship Application: Applications will be processed through the Georgia Education Savings Authority’s online portal, which open early at the start of each year. Families approved for the Georgia Promise Scholarship for the 2025-2026 school year may apply their funds towards tuition at FTA.
